Forging ahead for 100 years to pursue a new era of dreams

  On the evening of June 30th, the chorus competition of CNGR was held in changsha headquarters to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party. Deng Weiming, chairman of CNGR, Wu Xiaoge, executive Vice President, and leaders from various business units and industrial bases of CNGR watched the performance. All the CNGR People reviewed the magnificent and glorious course of the Chinese Communist Party over the past 100 years, and wished the great Party to lead the Chinese people to stride forward in the new era.

  On the magnificent center stage, the golden Party emblem sparkled against the red background. The words "1921" and "2021" were displayed on the screen, expressing happy wishes for the centennial birthday of the Communist Party of China. The gala is divided into three chapters of "The Birth, rise and Takeoff of the Party". It uses a variety of artistic means to vividly show the magnificent picture of the CPC leading the Chinese people in revolution, construction and reform over the past 100 years.

  At the host's announcement, the chorus competition officially began. Eight teams from various business divisions and industrial bases took the stage one after another. They either dressed in brilliant and colorful costumes, or dressed in solemn and meaningful Red Army uniforms. Under the guidance of their music teachers, they reviewed and commemorated the centennial struggle of the Communist Party of China with the most loud and soulful songs.

  In the first chapter, four choral teams, including Honglin Construction, New Materials Western Industrial Base, China Crop Intelligent Manufacturing and Holding Real Estate, sang a number of classic re songs including "Sing a Folk Song to the Party", "To Wuqi Town" and "On the Taihang Mountains", which vividly displayed that in the flames of the Great Revolution, on the Long March, on the battlefield of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation, the Communist Party of China united and led the Chinese people in a great journey through which they fought bloody battles and hardened themselves into steel.

  The second chapter unfolds a grand picture of the new era, reviewing the historic achievements and changes that have taken place in the cause of the Party and the country. The four teams from New Materials Headquarters, Research Institute, Southern Industrial Base and Central Industrial Base performed "Pursuit", "Yearning", "Youth comes at the right time" and "Stay true to the mission", fully demonstrating the magnificent picture of national rejuvenation in the new era, depicting the historical changes from getting rich to getting strong, and inspiring the Chinese people to move forward with confidence.

  The performance of each team has its own characteristics, interspersed in the process of singing, there were passionate poetry recitation,  wonderful singing and dancing, performance of unique ethnic instruments, and the performance of the pop band brimming with youth and vitality.

  All the performers presented a perfect evening party for the whole audience with elaborate preparation and hard work. In the end, the New Materials General Team, the Holding Real Estate Team and the New Materials Central Industrial Base Team won the first, second and third place in the chorus competition respectively.

  The event also held a "Vanguard of Party Members" award ceremony, 10 party members from the group won the honor, and then reviewed the pledge of party membership with other party members representatives. The oath was heard, and the bright red party flag was waving on the stage. At the end of the evening party, the audience stood up and sang "Without the Communist Party, there would be no New China", to prolonged applause.

  At the end of the event, Chairman Deng Weiming delivered a concluding speech, pointing out that, looking back at the century-long history of the Communist Party, from Shanghai Shikumen to Jiaxing South Lake, a small red boat carrying the people's trust and the nation's hope has crossed the rapids and treacherous waves to become the majestic ship that navigates China steadily and far. The Communists have come a long way to save the Chinese nation in a time of crisis and lead the Chinese people to prosperity and strength.

  Standing at the historical intersection of the "two Centenary Goals", the CNGR people must always be grateful, carry forward the great spirit of the Red Army's Long March with unswerving faith and will, and devote themselves to China's economic construction and the great rejuvenation of the nation. Under the strong leadership of the Communist Party of China, we will forge ahead with unity and realize the national strategic goal of "carbon peak by 2030 and carbon neutral by 2060".
